In a change to the previously advertised programme, we are delighted that the Paddington Piano Trio will be joining us for our August Concert. The Paddington Trio have recently and quickly emerged as an exciting new piano trio. In 2022 they won the Royal Over-Seas League Competition for Strings & Piano Ensemble and in April 2023 followed this by winning the prestigious Parkhouse Award in Wigmore Hall. They be joining us directly from the Edinburgh Festival where they will be performing at the Fringe.
Having all studied individually at the Guildhall School of Music & Drama, the trio is currently in the Guildhall Artist Fellowship programme. Having arrived in London from different countries, violinist Tuulia Hero (Finland), cellist Patrick Moriarty (Ireland) and pianist Stephanie Tang (US) describe themselves as seeking to build engaging concert programmes curated for changing times and audiences.
